Shiven's legacy

Shiven Shah · December 15, 2007 – September 16, 2015

Shiven was a young boy whose strength, laughter, and compassion touched every life around him.

During his fight, four organizations gave our family hope, strength, and joy: Campfire Circle, Make-A-Wish Canada, SickKids Foundation, and Million Dollar Smiles. Team Shiven Foundation exists to give back to them, so the next family gets the same support we did.

Every donation, every event, and every volunteer hour carries his name forward.

From one family to a foundation

What started as a family giving back is now a teen-led foundation with a full board.

    Where it starts

    In Shiven's memory, our family begins giving back to the charities that stood by us.

  2. 2016 to 2024

    Event by event

    Family, friends, and classmates host fundraisers across our community. The events add up, and so does the support.

  3. 2025

    Team Shiven Foundation launches

    We formalize the work with a teen-led board and adult oversight, and commit to four partner charities.
